Job summary

Allied Universal in Denver, CO is seeking a Security Guard Rover Duty to safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will monitor access, patrol interiors and exteriors, and provide excellent tenant and visitor service while upholding site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and vendor entry as directed, and report unauthorized access or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services or management when appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and maintenance-related reports, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site leadership.
