Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Honolulu, HI. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and provide friendly guest service across hotel and resort locations.

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and integrity with flexible day parts and opportunities to learn new shifts using our Claim a Shift platform. Must have 1 year security experience and meet job requirements.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel grounds, guest areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
