Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer (Guard Card Patrol) in Honolulu, HI to safeguard clients across retail and other sites. You will conduct regular unarmed patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while following site policies and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in line with laws.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures at a luxury retail location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the sales floor, entrances, fitting rooms, stock areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior or incidents to site contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols, contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications with a professional appearance.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a luxury retail location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the sales floor, entrances, fitting rooms, stock areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while presenting a professional appearance consistent with the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
