Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, public spaces, and perimeters to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate as site procedures require.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and security issues to relevant personnel.
• Prepare clear incident reports and patrol logs in accordance with site requirements.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, public spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
