Allied Universal in Honolulu is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Ambassador to monitor and protect guests, staff, and property at a premier hotel/resort location. You will provide outstanding customer service, maintain a visible security presence, and support a welcoming environment.

The role involves unarmed patrols, reporting incidents, and collaborating with a reliable team. Requirements include a HS diploma or equivalent, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• State/city-issued security professional license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law; drug screen required where permitted.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, public spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
