Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Honolulu, HI to monitor campus areas, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Typical duties include patrolling facilities, responding to alarms and emergencies, verifying credentials, and documenting daily activities.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law; Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and professionally; notify campus personnel or emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and campus activity, verify credentials or visitor authorization when required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare clear incident reports and daily activity documentation, and maintain professional communication with campus stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor access points and campus activity, verify credentials or visitor authorization when required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation, and maintain professional communication with campus stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
