Job summary

Allied Universal in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Security Guard - Office Patrol to protect patients, staff, and visitors within a healthcare environment. You will perform routine patrols, monitor entrances, and respond to security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming and safe atmosphere.

You will join a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity, and you will work full-time on the Daytime/Evening schedule with shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, employees.
• Maintain vigilant patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exteriors, parking lots, and perimeters.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies following site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and patrols.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, employee access, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Job Description

As a Security Guard - Office Patrol in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $17.01 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
