Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Credential Verification in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and provide outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control and alarm response activities, remain visible to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $22.20 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare-related facilities, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and delivery personnel procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
