As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and monitoring assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. This is a primarily driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle, responding to situations as they arise, and assisting with access control. What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the facility.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack may be present at the work location; experience working in such environments is preferred.
A valid driver’s license is preferred and may be required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
