Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Preparedness in SAN JOSE, CA. You will monitor and patrol, provide customer service, and deter incidents at a financial institution and other sites, while maintaining a visible presence and following post orders.

The role requires at least two years of security experience, HS diploma, CPR/First Aid certification preferred, and a background check.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required logs and reports.
