Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring for a Full Time position in a healthcare setting. Pay rate is $20.46 per hour and the shift schedule runs evenings Monday through Saturday.

You will provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff; conduct regular and random patrols of hospital areas; respond to incidents and alarms; assist with access control; and document activities accurately.

• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

• Wed 01:45 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 01:45 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 01:45 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 01:45 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and providing directions to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
