As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $26.25 / Hour

• Fri: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
