Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check is required by federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local regulations.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, reporting observed hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies to deter unauthorized entry and support a professional environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established security procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and observed conditions in accordance with company and site requirements.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
