Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for patrol and documentation duties at a technology-focused location in the United States. You will support entrances, monitor access, and respond to incidents following site procedures with calm, professional judgment.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year of security-related experience, HS diploma, and ability to use a computer or tablet. Typical shift is Thursday and Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with $17.37 per hour pay.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
