Job summary

The Salvation Army Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division is seeking a Security Guard for the Kroc Center Hawaii. This full-time hourly position provides a visible security presence, monitors the facility, and implements emergency procedures to keep staff and guests safe.

Responsibilities include patrolling areas, controlling access, and maintaining logs while following center policies. A valid Hawaii Guard Card, a high school diploma, and 1–2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current valid State of Hawaii Guard Card.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of work experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule, detail-oriented, strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visual security presence by patrolling visitors and staff.
• Conduct hourly rounds and monitor alarm systems and gates.
• Ensure emergency procedures are understood and followed.
• Monitor mechanical systems and respond to safety concerns.
• Manage access, sign in/out procedures, and communications.
