Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Security Guard for the Kroc Center Hawaii to maintain a safe environment for staff, members, and visitors. The role involves monitoring facilities, conducting rounds, and executing emergency procedures as required.

Qualifications

• Must have current valid State of Hawaii Guard Card.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One-two years’ work experience
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, follow detailed procedures, and have good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visual security presence by circulating among visitors, patrons and employees to preserve order and protect property and help maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
• Conduct hourly rounds to monitor facility activity and report problems to the Security Manager.
• Monitor alarm systems and manage access control during shifts.
• Assist with emergency procedures and evacuations as needed.
• Maintain a shift log and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
