Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Corporate Access in San Diego, CA to protect and serve tenants and visitors across a commercial real estate setting. The role emphasizes customer service, visible presence, and adherence to site policies while performing routine patrols and reporting incidents.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and a daytime to evening schedule. Candidates must meet minimum requirements, including a HS diploma and background/drug screening

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Guard Corporate Access in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
