Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Overnight Patrol in San Diego, CA. You will protect clients across various industries, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Position type: Full Time. Pay: $23.00 per hour. Schedule includes overnight shifts across Tue–Sun in a 24-hour pattern. Join a team guided by integrity, teamwork, and care for people.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent requirement.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.

• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document relevant entries, incidents, and observations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence throughout the location to help deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming environment for occupants and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
