An active armed guard card/license is required, you must be 21+, and pass background checks and drug screening. The role offers full-time hours and a competitive $19.00 per hour pay rate.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Armed Mobile Patrol in Daytona Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government services location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. An active armed guard card or license is required.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of activity in and around the facility in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required records related to patrols, incidents, access control, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Certified Protection Officer certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
