What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing de‑escalation techniques when possible.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or security‑related threats.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during the shift as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to address incidents at the location.
• Maintain a professional presence while carrying assigned equipment and performing patrols as required for an armed post.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
