Job summary

Allied Universal, Daytona Beach, FL, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitoring. You will monitor and patrol the distribution facility, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols within the facility and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol findings and incidents through accurate reports and shift logs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and other security-related activities through accurate reports and shift logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
