R+L Carriers in Dayton, OH is seeking a Security Officer for the 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm shift. The role is full-time and requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

You will protect the terminal’s security interests, conduct patrols, and support a professional security operation. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, with a benefits package after probation and one week of vacation after 90 days of employment.

Candidates must successfully complete the selection process to ensure we are providing professional security officers who are dependable and reliable. Responsibilities

• Providing protection for the terminal’s security interests and property from theft, fires, sabotage, vandalism, illegal entry, and other acts that may adversely impact the company
• Other duties as assigned by management staff

Requirements / Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
• Have the ability to speak, read and write the English language
• Be at least 21 years of age
• You must have reliable transportation
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends if needed
• You must be able to physically stand, walk or patrol the assigned facility for the majority of your shift
• Applicants must have a verifiable ten-year work history
• Previous military, police, or security guard experience is preferred but not required
• Must submit to a criminal history check, and pass a drug screen
