Job summary

Securitas is hiring for a Security - Full Time position at our ABQ, NM site. The role involves maintaining a safe environment, monitoring premises, control of access, and patrolling client locations.

Wage is $18.10 per hour. Graveyard shifts include Fri/Sat/Sun with hours varying; benefits include health coverage, 401K, telemedicine, paid time off, uniforms, and paid training. Two-way communication with dispatch is required to complete rounds.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and stay calm in stressful situations.
• Able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and performing access control and patrolling.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity and ensure post orders are followed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift and conduct foot/mobile patrols.
• Check in with dispatch and complete assigned rounds throughout the shift.
• Carry out duties of similar scope as required for the site.

• Fri: 0000 - 0600 OR Fri: 1800 - 0600
• Sat: 1800 - 0600
• Sun: 1800 - 0600

They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

• Must have good report writing skills.
