Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Flex Officer for a full-time graveyard shift in Springfield, MO. The role involves monitoring premises, access control, patrols, and reporting security incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities include badge creation, visitor screening, customer service, and use of CCTV and security systems. Candidates should be 18+, with a HS diploma and strong tech and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and perform access control duties.
• Create badges for visitors and answer phones at front desk.
• Identify and report safety issues and suspicious activity.
• Maintain post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Operate CCTV, alarms, and security systems.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports.

Flex Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Springfield, MO

Wage Range: $17.00-$18.50/HR

Graveyard Shift: 32 Hours Per Week

• Mon - Thurs: 2000 - 0800

Variable full-time shift schedule with availability as needed.

TheFlex Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Front desk / access control duties such as creating badges for visitors and answering phones.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift, such as Vision phone usage.
• Monitor and patrol the assigned property to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Check identification and verify visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, and suspicious activity.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and security logs.
• Enforce company security policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of doors, gates, equipment, and security areas.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect company information and property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Must be able to complete long distance foot patrols, which can be split up (includes stairs) and Setting for long periods of time.
