Job summary

Allied Universal Security Services is seeking a Security Flex Officer for a Corporate site in Milford, MA. This part-time role offers Flex Hours from 3p.m. to 7a.m.

Sundays with weekly pay and paid orientation. The Security Professional Flex Officer will patrol, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents across various client sites. Applicants must meet basic qualifications and may undergo background checks and drug screening; growth opportunities exist within a dynamic, community-focused

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required as a condition of employment.
• No prior security experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed, per state).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio or console equipment effectively.
• Communicate with the public clearly (oral and written).
• Demonstrate active listening and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, or forbidden articles).
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
