Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company or customer vehicle.
• Background check required; drug screen may be required by law.
• No prior security experience required; must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable, adaptable, able to operate radio equipment and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or by vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unsafe conditions and respond appropriately.
• Sound alarms or contact authorities as needed.
• Limit access and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe personnel and protect company property per client rules.
• Investigate incidents and maintain logs and reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
