Job summary

Allied Universal Security Services is seeking a Security Flex Officer at a Manufacturer Site in Worcester, MA. This full-time overnight position runs 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday through Friday, with a starting pay of $19.50 per hour and benefits including paid orientation and DailyPay.

You will perform patrols, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents while gaining experience across multiple industries. The role emphasizes flexibility, site-specific post orders, and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed).
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment and communicate with the public.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property; ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
