Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Flex Officer to protect client sites across industries. You will use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on your availability, gaining hands-on experience across healthcare, education, and finance sectors.

No prior security experience is required. A valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving history is required, and there are strong opportunities for career development within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check as required by law (federal, state, local).
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer-owned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Observe for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rules and monitor entrances and exits.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs.
