Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable security experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company or customer vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed where applicable).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Good written and oral communication; able to interact with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators and monitor entrances/exits per post orders.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Submit emergency notifications per site orders.
