Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across industries including Healthcare, Education, and Finance. You will use a shift‑pickup platform to claim shifts based on your availability, building site experience and a flexible schedule.

The role may require irregular shifts with little notice. The position emphasizes responsible security patrols, prompt incident reporting, and professional interaction with the public.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check required in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/console monitors.
• Interact cordially with the public.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering or forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
