Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Fort Worth, TX. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts, enabling greater earnings and experience across sites.

Pay rate is $22.00 per hour. The position supports a flexible schedule, with the potential to scale toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week. A high school diploma and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred (where applicable).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, perimeter, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, and deliveries, reporting unauthorized activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and communications accurately through required reports.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Welfare Checks in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized activity and/or policy concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and communications accurately through required reports and electronic systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
