• Deter unauthorized access by observing entry and exit activity and escalating concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct patrols of access points, loading zones, and facility perimeter; environments may vary by location.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Management in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat : 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access control points, review credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vendor entry in accordance with site requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry and exit activity, reporting irregularities, and escalating concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following applicable site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production‑adjacent areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
