Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points and verify authorized access; maintain visitor records.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify leadership or emergency services as needed.
• Deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and policy violations by monitoring entrances and other locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location and report security concerns according to site procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Validation in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for associates, contractors, deliveries, and vendors, and maintain visitor and access records as required.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate store leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft‑related activity, and policy violations by observing activity at assigned entrances, receiving areas, and other designated locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, including the sales floor, parking areas, perimeter, and receiving areas, while reporting security‑related concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city issued security‑related license, preferred.
• Possess customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
