Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced for the Fort Worth, TX area. This role offers reliable, fixed hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our platform to boost earnings.

You will work at an aerospace/defense location, providing access control, incident response, and routine reporting while maintaining client-directed expectations. The position requires a minimum of 1 year in security, a DoD Secret Clearance, and compliance with baseline

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures and access control.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior per post instructions.
• Complete routine reports and pass-down communications following company standards.

As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.56 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and other security‑related concerns according to post instructions.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and pass‑down communications while following Allied Universal standards and client‑directed expectations for an unarmed patrol post.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
