Job summary

Cook Solutions Group in Washington state is seeking a Full-Time Security Service Technician with strong customer service, communication, and time management skills to support our 'We Make It Happen!' culture. You will install wires and equipment, respond to service calls, conduct site surveys, and train customers.

This role requires 2–5 years of security installation experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel up to a week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2 - 5 years of electronic and physical security service and installation experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of security equipment such as alarm systems, access control, video, CCTV systems, drive up systems, & under-counter teller equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Bosch, DMP, March DVR, 3VR, and/or Lenel Access control product lines preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to a week if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Travels to client’s site for alarm failure troubleshooting and repair.
• Installs and services electronic and physical security products including pulling wire per job specifications.
• Installs and wires electronic equipment used in systems.
• Accounts for all installation and service tools/equipment and all job parts/inventory.
• Tests all installed/serviced equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with customers’ requirements and all applicable codes.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electronic and physical security equipment.
• Communicates project status information to management as necessary.
• Communicates with customers on job status or completion.
• Conducts site surveys upon request of management.
• Completes and turns in all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Follows Purchasing procedures using database system and supervisor approval.
• Maintains and controls assigned truck stock inventory.
• Maintains control and safeguards all company or customer property.
• Ensures company vehicle is maintained and clean.
• Maintains clean driving record and safe operation of vehicles.
• Trains less experienced employees on procedures and techniques.
• Ensures work meets CSG quality standards and safety rules.
• Willingness to travel up to a week as needed.
