Job summary

Cook Solutions Group in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Full-Time Security Service Technician with strong customer service, communication, and time management skills, a professional attitude, and a collaborative spirit to support our 'We Make It Happen!' culture. You will install, service, and troubleshoot security systems while traveling as needed.

Responsibilities include wiring, site surveys, startup and commissioning, and training customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2–5 years of electronic and physical security service/installation experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites for alarm fault troubleshooting and repair; up to a week away as needed.
• Install and service electronic and physical security products, including wiring.
• Install and wire electronic equipment used in security systems.
• Account for tools, equipment, parts, and inventory.
• Test installed/serviced equipment for performance and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair security equipment.
• Communicate project status to management and customers.
• Conduct site surveys on request.
• Complete required paperwork on time (time sheets, expenses, etc.).
