Job summary

Cook Solutions Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Full-Time Installation Technician to install wires and equipment, respond to service calls, conduct site surveys, and train customers while upholding the company culture 'We Make It Happen!'. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3–5 years of security installation experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Travel up to a week may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of electronic and physical security installation experience or training.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of security equipment (alarm, access control, CCTV).
• Willingness to travel up to a week if necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and frequently handle up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install electronic and physical security products as specified.
• Install and pull wire according to specs.
• Account for all installation tools, equipment, and parts.
• Test installed equipment for performance and compliance.
• Communicate project status to management and customers.
• Conduct site surveys upon management request.
• Submit timesheets, expense reports, change orders, and transfers timely.
• Maintain organized truck stock and inventory.
• Keep assigned vehicle clean and maintained.
• Train less experienced employees on procedures and techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
