Job summary

C&C Group is seeking a Security Field Engineer/Technician for our Lenexa, KS office. You will install, diagnose, and support security systems at customer sites, ensuring quality and satisfaction.

Ideal candidates read blueprints, use hand tools, and communicate effectively with customers and project managers. A two-year degree and valid driver's license are required, with pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation, including criminal and motor vehicle check.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers.
• Responsible for installing product and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Ensure quality completion of project.
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.

Role Overview

Our current opening is for a Security Field Engineer/Technician in our Lenexa office. Technician will be responsible for providing customers with the highest quality installations possible in an efficient and timely manner while assuring customer satisfaction.

As a Security Field Engineer (Technician), you will:

Experience with security systems, access control, VMS, or related technologies (preferred)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose system issues efficiently

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications

Comfortable using hand tools and working in a field environment

Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset

Highly organized with the ability to document work and manage multiple tasks

Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Willingness to learn new systems, technologies, and industry best practices

Ability to collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure successful project completion

Requirements
