Salesforce, Inc. seeks a transformative Senior Director of Security Engineering to elevate Slack's security posture for an AI-enabled work OS. You will lead a globally distributed security organization, owning platform defense, incident response, product security, IAM, and AI/agent security.

You will partner with Slack and Salesforce leadership to defend against advanced threats, mentor senior security leaders, and build a culture that moves fast without compromising trust.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of cybersecurity experience across multiple domains with 8+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience building and scaling enterprise security programs at SaaS scale.
• Crisis management and incident response leadership demonstrated across product and enterprise environments.
• Experience leading through organizational change with globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and run the end-to-end security program for Slack, including Platform Defense, Product Security, IAM, and Incident Response.
• Lead and scale a globally distributed security engineering organization, hiring and developing top talent.
• Serve as Incident Commander for critical security incidents with executive-level communication.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to champion Slack Security and maintain trust for users and autonomous AI agents.
• Benchmark Slack's security posture against peers and promote a world-class program.
