Job summary

SkySlope is seeking a Security Engineering Manager to design and lead SkySlope's security engineering program. You will own the program roadmap, hire and grow the team, and stay hands-on in critical security work across identity, access, secrets, and AI governance.

You will partner with DevOps, IT, and product engineering to embed security into how work is done, set engineering standards, and report progress to executives.

Qualifications

• Senior-level security engineering experience with proven delivery.
• Depth in cloud IAM, credential federation, and secrets management.
• Experience shaping cross-functional security programs.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute SkySlope's security engineering program.
• Lead architecture and design reviews for security work.
• Contribute hands-on PoCs, detections, and automation.
• Hire and grow a security team and set engineering standards.
• Embed security guidance across DevOps, IT, and product teams.
• Define AI governance and apply AI tooling to security review.
