Job summary

Karbon seeks an AppSec Engineer to join a growing security team. The role focuses on building secure, AI-enabled cloud solutions and promoting security across development workflows.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, design, and IT to embed security from feature design through post-release support. The ideal candidate combines security fundamentals with hands-on app, cloud, and AI tooling expertise and communicates well with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in .NET/C#, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience with one cloud platform (Azure preferred).

Responsibilities

• Embed security from design to deployment and threat modelling.
• Balance security with delivery; communicate risks clearly.
• Apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate security tasks and detection.
