Karbon is seeking a development & cloud focused Senior Security Engineer to join our expanding security team. The ideal candidate will drive AppSec, Cloud, and AI security practices while collaborating with development teams to embed security from design through delivery.

We value strong communication, cloud experience (Azure preferred), and the ability to work across multiple security domains in a fast-moving, globally distributed environment. AI-enabled security is a core focus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Experience in AppSec, Cloud security, and AI tooling is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with security testing tools and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Embed security into feature design and development from the start.
• Balance delivery speed with security considerations and communicate risks.
• Review AI tooling risks and integrate AI-assisted security workflows.
• Triage and remediate security issues across services and pipelines.
• Contribute to security metrics and roadmap planning.
