Job summary

EnableComp’s Security Engineer role sits at the bridge between security policy and development operations, embedding secure-by-design practices across applications, data pipelines, and AI systems. As a key contributor to the organization’s Agentic AI platform transformation, you will design and embed security controls, enabling innovation while protecting data and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years in hands-on application security, DevSecOps, or security engineering roles.
• Experience building and configuring secure CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Deep proficiency with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2) and compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Bridge security policy and technical execution by translating organizational security requirements into practical solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy security controls across web apps, data pipelines, APIs, and AI systems.
• Implement secure-by-design practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including code remediations and hardening.
• Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and operationalize AI-specific security frameworks and guardrails for agentic models.
• Perform hands-on security assessments, including testing and remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cloud and DevOps teams to enforce secure configuration baselines.
• Provide security guidance to developers during architecture reviews and sprint planning.
• Continuously improve security posture through testing and adoption of best practices.
• Document security architectures and implementation patterns for ongoing operations.
