Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Security Dispatcher to serve as the central communication hub for the Security Department, relaying critical information between officers and management. You will manage a multi-line center, handle radio and telephone messages, and make quick, informed decisions during emergencies to protect guests and staff.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma, is 21+, and has 1+ year of customer service experience; prior security or law enforcement

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and have a HS diploma or GED.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor cameras, access control systems, and alarm panels.
• Coordinate and direct security officers to respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Maintain logs of communications, incidents, and security activities in real time.
• Follow emergency protocols and liaise with local authorities during incidents.
• Own dispatch calls and assist in investigations by locating video footage.
