Job summary

The Springfield, MA location of MGM Resorts International is hiring a Security Dispatcher to be the central communication link between Security Officers and Management. You will coordinate radio and telephone communications, stay calm under pressure, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment to help keep guests and operations safe.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, are at least 18, and possess typing skills; security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor cameras, access control systems, and alarm panels to identify and respond to potential security threats.
• Coordinate and direct security officers to respond to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance throughout the property.
• Maintain continuous coordination with the Global Security Operations Center.
• Operate communication equipment, such as two-way radios and telephones.
• Maintain accurate logs of communication and incidents in real-time for reporting.
