Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Security Dispatcher to serve as the central communication hub for the Security Department. You will relay critical information between Security Officers and Management and manage a multi-line communications center.

The role requires quick, informed decisions during emergencies while juggling multiple tasks. You will monitor cameras, access control, and alarms, direct officers, and maintain precise real-time logs for reporting and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of prior relevant experience (customer service) preferred; security/military/law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cameras, access control, and alarm panels to identify threats and respond promptly.
• Coordinate security officers to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Maintain logs of communications, incidents, emergencies, and activities in real time.
• Operate radios and telephones to relay critical information between teams and management.
• Assist investigations by locating and retrieving relevant video footage.
