Job summary

Premier Health's Upper Valley Medical Center Campus Police is seeking a Security Dispatcher for a 12‑hour shift. You will dispatch security calls, maintain dispatch logs, and manage the Matrix card access system, while assisting patients, visitors and staff with directions and information.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, complete LEADS/CCH certification within 30 days, and you may have prior dispatch or law enforcement experience. Strong composure under pressure is essential.

• No prior job-related experience required, though dispatcher/Law Enforcement experience is desirable.
• Strong ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and courteous.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for dispatching Security calls, completion of dispatch log sheets, and the card access system. Assists patients, visitors, and employees by giving directions, over the phone, accurately. Controls parking and entrances to hospital by use of the Matrix card access system.

Education

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• - ### Must pass Law Enforcement Automated Data System (LEADS) and Computerized Criminal History (CCH) certification requirements within thirty days of employment and maintain certification throughout employment

Experience

• - ### Preferred experience: Previous experience in law enforcement as dispatcher desirable
