Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Security Cooperation Analyst to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Cyber Operations Policy (DASW COP) in developing, coordinating, and implementing cyberspace security cooperation policies and programs.

The analyst will support defensive cyber operations, critical infrastructure protection, cyber resilience, and whole-of-government efforts to counter malicious cyber threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in any relevant field.
• Eight+ years of combined experience supporting cyberspace security cooperation development and implementation.
• Knowledge of cyberspace security cooperation processes and activities.
• Ability to assess feasibility of proposed cyber security cooperation programs.
• Ability to interface effectively with senior-level management.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, written, coordination, and presentation skills.
• Active DoW Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Job Description: Parsons is seeking a Security Cooperation Analyst to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Cyber Operations Policy (DASW COP) in developing, coordinating, and implementing cyberspace security cooperation policies and programs. The analyst will support defensive cyber operations, critical infrastructure protection, cyber resilience, and whole-of-government efforts to counter malicious cyber threats.

What You'll Do

• Assist DASW COP leadership in developing and updating DoW policy for defensive cyber operations, including the defense of critical infrastructure, the defense industrial base, and critical warfighting capabilities to provide a layered defense within the Department.
• Support DASW COP leadership in drafting policy to deter, prevent, and respond to DoW and national-level cybersecurity intrusions and incidents and further cyber resiliency and agility.
• Assist DASW COP leadership in implementing lines of effort under DoW's Cyber Strategy.
• Support DoW's role in one or more whole-of-government efforts to counter specific malicious cyber threats, including cooperation with communities managing diplomatic, law enforcement, intelligence, and network defense efforts.
• Assist DASW COP leadership in providing policy oversight of the alignment of cyber security cooperation programs with DoW policy and strategy.
• Use knowledge of security cooperation processes and activities to assess the feasibility of implementing proposed cyber security cooperation programs.
• Support the development, coordination, and implementation of cyberspace security cooperation policies, strategies, programs, and initiatives.
• Analyze proposed cyber security cooperation activities for feasibility, alignment, risks, resource requirements, and implementation considerations.
• Coordinate with DoW and Service staffs, military commands, interagency organizations, diplomatic and international partners, law enforcement, intelligence, and network defense communities.
• Provide technical support, policy analysis, and advice to senior leadership on cyber security cooperation, defensive cyber operations, cyber resilience, and related initiatives.
• Prepare policy papers, coordination documents, assessments, briefings, reports, and decision-support materials.
• Support policy reviews, stakeholder engagements, working groups, and senior-level coordination sessions.
• Track program activities, milestones, action items, risks, issues, and stakeholder coordination requirements.
• Brief complex cyber policy, operational, and security cooperation matters to senior-level leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in any relevant field of study.
• Minimum eight years of combined experience within the Office of the Secretary of War and/or Service staff supporting cyberspace security cooperation development and implementation.
• Knowledge of cyberspace security cooperation processes and activities.
• Ability to assess the feasibility of implementing proposed cyber security cooperation programs.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical support and advice.
• Ability to interface effectively with senior-level management.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal, interpersonal, written, coordination, and presentation skills.
• Active DoW Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited university in any field of study.
• Experience supporting DoW, Service, combatant command, interagency, or international cyber security cooperation programs.
• Familiarity with DoW Cyber Strategy, defensive cyberspace operations, critical infrastructure protection, defense industrial base resilience, cyber resiliency, and cyber incident response.
• Experience developing policy, coordinating across organizational boundaries, and preparing executive-level briefings and decision-support materials.

Security Clearance Requirement

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
