Parsons is seeking a Defensive Cyber Analyst to support Cyber Operations Policy leadership in developing and implementing defensive cyberspace operations policy, critical infrastructure protection, defense industrial base resilience, and cyber incident response initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in defensive cyberspace operations or related fields.
• Ability to brief complex cyber concepts to GO/FO/SES-level leaders.
• Active DoW Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with defensive cyber policy development, strategy, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update DoW policy for defensive cyber operations.
• Develop policies and strategies to deter, prevent, and respond to cybersecurity intrusions and incidents.
• Support implementation of lines of effort under the DoW Cyber Strategy.
• Provide technical and analytical support on defensive cyber capabilities, processes, operations.
• Support cyber resilience, incident response, threat mitigation, and layered defense initiatives.
• Coordinate with senior leaders, military commands, interagency partners, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare policy documents, briefings, risk assessments, decision-support materials, and senior-level reports.
• Brief complex cyber operational, policy, and risk concepts to GO/FO/SES-level leaders.

Parsons is seeking a Defensive Cyber Analyst to support Cyber Operations Policy leadership in developing and implementing defensive cyberspace operations policy, critical infrastructure protection, defense industrial base resilience, and cyber incident response initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Support the development and update of DoW policy for defensive cyber operations, including defense of critical infrastructure, the defense industrial base, and critical warfighting capabilities.
• Assist in developing policies and strategies to deter, prevent, and respond to cybersecurity intrusions and incidents.
• Support implementation of lines of effort under the DoW Cyber Strategy.
• Provide technical and analytical support on defensive cyber capabilities, processes, operations, and execution.
• Support cyber resilience, incident response, threat mitigation, and layered defense initiatives.
• Contribute to whole-of-government efforts addressing malicious cyber threats in coordination with diplomatic, law enforcement, intelligence, and network defense organizations.
• Assess the alignment and feasibility of cyber security cooperation programs with DoW policy and strategy.
• Prepare policy documents, briefings, risk assessments, decision-support materials, and senior-level reports.
• Brief complex cyber operational, policy, and risk concepts to GO/FO/SES-level leaders.
• Coordinate with senior leaders, military commands, interagency partners, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in relevant field.
• At least 8 years of experience in defensive cyberspace operations, critical infrastructure protection, defense industrial base resilience, incident response, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical support and advice on defensive cyber capabilities, policies, processes, and operations.
• Familiarity with defensive cyber policy development, strategy formulation, and implementation.
• At least five years of experience briefing complex cyber operational, policy, and risk concepts to GO/FO/SES-level leaders.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with senior-level leadership.
• Active DoW Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited university.
• Experience with cyber security cooperation, whole-of-government cyber initiatives, or defense industrial base policy.
• Familiarity with DoW cyber strategy, critical infrastructure protection, and national-level cyber incident response.

Security Clearance Requirement

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range

$112,200.00 - $196,400.00
