Job summary

Harvard Protection Services seeks Security Officers to deliver professional security and life safety services for people and property. You will serve as a visible, customer-focused representative, responding to incidents and maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and professional appearance.
• Ability to write routine log entries and incident reports.
• Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge services and assist customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and visible presence in the assigned area.
• Monitor environment and detect suspicious or unsafe activity.
• Greet customers and verify entrances and exits per policy.
• Answer phones professionally and document incidents as directed.
• Ensure adherence to facility policies and complete required patrols.
